HELP - I accidentally deleted my blog roll

Calling on all of you to help me.
(1). I was trying to add someone to my blogroll and it wouldn't take it, so in trying to fix the problem, I accidentally deleted my whole blog roll!!! :( I'm going to have to put everyone in by hand again - can't find any recycle bin for Blogland to "restore" it. Does anyone know if this is possible????

(2.) Before Christmas, my old computer was running so slow. Our grandson built us a new computer and when he was installing it, I put my "brains" (the notebook with all my notes, addresses etc.) somewhere out of his way - but now I can't find it. I hope it didn't get mixed in with all the Christmas wrapping!

(3.) Then, on NY Eve, I had to have an abcessed tooth pulled. It had been previously crowned, then a root canal done - and still a problem. It's my back tooth. Still pretty sore and can only eat soft stuff. Before I had it pulled, our daughter prayed that it would be an easy extraction and go smoothly. As the Specialist Dentist was telling me all the things that could happen with this, I told him about my daughter's prayer. He pulled my tooth very quickly and said "That was the easiest one I've done all week. I guess prayer works!"

Please be patient if I can't get to your blogs right away- Hopefully, I can find you all again.
Hugs. Ruthie

I did that once, it was a huge bummer! It took e a few days to get everything back to normal. Usually what I do is keep a bookmark file on my yahoo home page and explorer favorites as well. That way i something get deleted in blogger it will not get totally lost.

I hope you dental issues are better, I've got some crown work on the calendar in a few weeks, not looking forward to it but ya know how it is.

Anyway I hope you can get you blog list rebuilt and you don't loose anyone you really enjoy.

My suggestion would be to do a search in blogger help and see if there is a possible back up somewhere, probably not but it would be worth a try.

Oh Dear Ruthie, you poor thing. They say when it rains it pours, but I won't say that! LOL I'm sorry you've lost your blog roll! As fun as blogging is, there's a booger in our computers sometimes.
I'm so sorry too to hear about your tooth! I've had many teeth problems and can just feel the pain! But glad there was a happy ending to the extraction! Yes, m'am, I do know that prayer works!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Sometimes it just seems to rain trouble, and you're having your share. I wish I could advise you, but I just do this thing by trial and error.

Hi Ruthie,
Happy New year!!
I'm sorry about your blogroll, I did the same things and it took awhile but I finally got it back. I ended up making me a copy of the addresses and keep it in my documents. But my computer crashed so now I have no copy again. I was happy to see your smiling face today!!

Oh dear! You have done what I am always afraid of doing! I think your people will soon all have written you and you can gather them up again! I hope so.

I'm very interested in your tooth thing, since I, too, had a root canal, then surgery 3 weeks ago, and still having pain. I just dread having it pulled as I have $3500 in that offending tooth! I see the specialist today--ouch!! I hope you are recovering well.

Hopefully, very soon you will have your list complete. I do have all of my list bookmarked outside the blog, so hopefully I will escape that problem. I did have a friend who erased her two year blog by accident and there was no recovering it! That would be tragic.

Take care, dear friend. I have missed having you stop by.

When you open up your Explorer browser, look for link just under the space where you type in the web address.

There it says "File" "Edit" "View" and "Favorites" when you go to any website and you wan to store the information all you have to do is click on the favorites link and select in the pull down menue "add to favorites".

It will then save the web address in a list of your favoritw web sites. You can set up folders and organize all your favorite websies in favorites.

I hope this helps!

Oh Dear Sweet Ruthie, You are having one bad time. I am going to list myself as a follower of your blog. I am especially sorry about the problem with your tooth. I know that it can be traumatic to lose a tooth. I recently had a similar experience. I'll say a prayer for you.

Hi Ruthie - sorry to hear about losing all your bloglist - what a pain.

One time I had some problems and I contacted the blogger help desk and they helped me really quickly.

Looks like a lot of people are feeling your pain. I recently changed templates on one of my blogs and had to reenter everything on the sidebar. Fortunately I knew it was going to happen so I made copies of a lot of the codes, etc. I thought it wouldn't delete the blog role but it did so it took awhile to get it back on. I'm not sure I got everyone back on that was there. It would be good if Blogger had a way to restore stuff. They probably will have someday.
Good luck with your reentering.
I have had so many root canals, crowns, etc., I can totally sympathize with you. I'm so glad we have such good dentists now that are capable of doing that stuff and with very little pain usually.

Dear Ruthie, I hope this note finds you feeling better and getting your blog roll back. These computers are so tricky sometimes. Just know I'm out here thinking about you. I will say a prayer that everything goes well with your tooth.

Hey, Sweet Ruthie. I'm so glad you liked my little song. That one makes me giggle all over! lol
I know, I love the Christmas lights too. I guess the solution would be just leave your tree up all year round and redecorate it for the seasons! lol Thank you so much for your prayers for us and mother!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Nice work. I came across your blog while blog surfing using the “next blog” button on the Nav Bar of I am continually fascinated by the types of blogs that exist on the Internet, and the various, creative ways in which people all over the globe express themselves. Thanks for sharing.
