Show and Tell Friday- plate

This ia a beautiful wall plate given to me at Christmas by our daughter and son-in-law. On the scroll at the bottom it says "Home Sweet Home". I am so happy to have it hanging in our kitchen!
It looks very vintage and reminds me of some things my mom had years ago.

I have worked for two nights on my blog roll. This is what I have come up with. If you are not on my blog roll and want to be,please leave me a comment and I can get your address and add you that way. I know I have missed some of you. Thanks for your patience and all your encouraging comments.

That is nice and seems to fit well with other things you've shown us in pictures of your home.

I love your wall plate. It is very vintage looking. I am glad that you are getting your blog role up again. It is so frustrating when that happens.

What a lovely plate. It reminds me of some of the Wedgewood platters I used to see in different homes when I was young!

I think you have done a great job of recovering your blog friends. I turned mine into the ones like you have, telling the blog title and date, this morning. I think it is going to save me time, as I check so often to see of there are new posts on my bloggie spots that I visit.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful platter with us!

Your platter looks like Johnson Brothers Friendly Village. My sister bought me a large (turkey) platter this summer at an antique store--I love it so much!

Hi Ruthie,
Thanks for stopping by. In answer to your question, I found that the blogs I follow were listed on my Profile Page and I didn't want that list there as it is not complete, as many don't have the picture thing up on their blogs. So I deleted them and lo and behold, I found that it also deleted my picture from the blogs that I follow.....so I have to make a decision as I guess I can't do the picture on your blog without it appearing on my own Profile Page. I have blogs that I follow on my side bar, and I didn't want anyone checking in to feel slighted if their names weren't on the Profile Page. Hope that makes sense to you.

Yes, I do love having the blogs I follow come up as posts are added. It saves a lot of time checking to see if new posts have been added.

So, if I decide not to put my picture up with your followers, my own blog indicates that I am definitely a follower of yours!

Ruthie, It's good to see you have your blog roll up and going again. I love your plate. It does look very vintage. What a great keepsake. My shoulder is doing much better. I have been out of PT for about 2 weeks. I do not have full range of motion. I would say I have approx 80 percent. I hope it continues to improve as I use it. Thanks for asking!!
Hugs, Terrie
