These are lovely... I love wild roses too... here in the south there is a wild rose called The Confederate Rose... Not sure why... but they grow mostly on ditch banks.. and they are beautiful.

Her last name was Rose...my Grandma Rose.1999-3-99 My RoseSome say a beautiful woman is like a rose- long stemed,rare beauty, and hard to hold. I know a rose of another kind most rare today, but still you might find- up in the hills growing close to the ground- providing shelter to small things all around. Some thorns for protection are placed here and there, the leaves are many- the heat they can bear.Yes, beauty is there in a plain lovely way, not imposing or pushy, but there just the same.
