Has Spring finally come??This morning, the sun was shining, the birds were singing, the light dusting of snow from yesterday was melted, and it reminded me of a song my mom used to sing to me when I was young .
It's called :
"The Birdies in the Treetops".
I wasn't sure I remembered all the words - when I googled it, I found it is still on lots of kids song CDs! Wow. But couldn't find the lyrics or who wrote the song. Does anyone have that information???
Here are the words as I remember them.
"The birdies in the treetops
sing their songs,
The angels chant their chorus
all day long.
The flowers in the garden
lend their hues,
So why shouldn't I,
Why shouldn't you,
Praise Him too."
