Every four years, our country gathers to install and honor the President that we have elected. We have a peaceful and smooth transition as the new President is inaugurated and enters the White House. It is a wonderful demonstration of our Democracy and it awes and inspires us all.
These are some of the sights I took of the TV as the day transpired. Our capital in all it's glory -

President Obama being sworn in as his wife Michelle holds the Lincoln Bible -
And the new and former President and First Ladies after the Inauguration- as they say their goodbyes.It was a memorable day.
We now will pray for President Obama as he takes on his new responsibilities.
We also want to thank our out-going President Bush for the eight years of service that he gave us.
As the choirs sang "God Bless America", we agree! And we are proud to be Americans!
