Wordless Wednesday - Rain in the mountains

There's nothing like a rainy day in the CO mountains. It reminds me of Psalms 121:1&2 "I will lift up my eyes to the hills - where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." (NIV)

I suppose you could say that rain is better than sleet or snow, and rain brings new growth. So, thank you, God for the rain.

I know what you mean, Ruthie, I have lived in Colorado!! It is amazing to see the handy work of God. I chose the same verse you did this week, without knowing that you chose it. I love the picture. God is so evident. I'm sad some of my friends choose to not believe in Him. I will keep praying though. Have a good week. Kathi

We're lucky enough to live in Grand Lake in the summer and we love the summer storms. No State has clouds like Colorado.

At one of the hardest times in my life... I looked up on a hospital wall to see this scripture crossed-stitched and displayed. I felt that it had been placed there just for me. It was as if He was saying Lift up your eyes, Sharon... I am HERE! Our Amazing God!

I also love rainy and foggy days but in the mountains I know it's absolutely beautiful. I think the picture says it all. Thank you so much for your kind comments and concern for Charli and me. Charli is doing very well now and back to her delightful little self.
