Word Verifications
I have been amused at some of the Word Verifications. The one here is pretty easy to read .. but wait, is that an "r i" or an "n" .....?
And what if you have your fingers on the wrong keys and it types out as "tohm[ptg;" Woops!
Or you could type in your word, click, and never notice that a new word has appeared - and your message never gets to the sender!
Occasionally, you get a real word - but sometimes it is just gibberish. And sometimes you can't read it at all. Oh well, all for the fun of blogging. (smile).

Hi Ruthie! Oh, I was thinking I was the only one wondering about these verifications! I've noticed for the last few months the verifications are easier to type because they're similar to 'real' words! I've actually laughed out loud at a few I've typed. One was stynky!! lol
Be a sweetie and thank you for coming to see my tea party.
Shelia ;)
Word verification is always a bit of a challenge. It's kind of fun when it's a "real" word!
hugs))
I just wrote something about this the other day :) sometimes the words are really funny. Have a great night!
Last week I had "urine" as a word verification! Urine????!!!
Lol!
LOL. I hear you. That's why I don't have a word verification on mine. Why do you still have it?
I don't get the whole word verification thing, but I suppose they can tell something. It's a mystery to me. I think they have been longer words lately too.
I love it when a real word comes up!! but even then sometimes it's hard to tell!! sometimes they just sound like a real word!
I just look at the word and if it's crammed together, I just click for another word. The second one is usually really simple, like they decided I'm a first grader. :)
some of them are just too funny and it is as if Meme has become addicted to word verification just to see what word I can turn it into=
some where it says they are there to prove that we are a real humans--LOL
I not sure about you but I had not noticed Dogman blogging but of course he can't cause he does not know how to read the word verifiCATion because he seen the cat in it and ran--LOL
hugs from Meme
I read somewhere the reason that word verifications are used - something about keeping the spam down. I do think that the verifications are becoming easier to read as the letters appear clearer and larger. I used to have word verification for my blog but removed it a few months ago.
I have to laugh at the definitions that people give to the word verifications. They really make me laugh.
Word Verification: frabl
A frabl is the loser of the game Scrabble.
Sometimes the words make me laugh. It drives me crazy when it keeps popping up when I mistyped it over and over!!
