Thanks to our Military

While checking our RV a few days ago, some jets flew over the area. What a magnificent sight. I was able to get this beautiful photo.

And was again reminded how much we appreciate all our military does for us to keep us safe.

Great reminder Ruthie :)
We live near a huge airbase and those big planes go over many times per day.
Have a great week!

Oh that is pretty! We were just talking last night about the Blue Angels. My parents were both Air Force and we grew up around jets. I just love watching them fly!

I am so happy you thinkn like that for they are the reasons we live in the countries that we do & have the freedom of choice that we have.
They are the reasons WHY the protestors can walk down the street with their banners.
My darling son is an Infantry soldier in the Australian Army and as he says "I'm just doing my job Ma"
Hugs to you xoxo

Thanks for the reminder--we owe our military so very much. The burdens some of them bear for the rest of their lives is heartbreaking.

I live near an airbase here at PDX. Some days we are treated to some wonderful sights and sounds from the maneuvers overhead--always a reminder that they are constantly on alert!

Great shot! The sky so blue ! I love watching jets fly by. Growing up we lived in the flight path for the major airport. We'd sit on our front porch and watch all the planes go by...
Where I am now isnt in any direct flight path but at least once a week we see a fighter jet go by. Boy are they loud!

A great photo, and thanks for reminding us to say Thanks to our service men and women!!
We live very close to an army facility, and just about 20 miles from us is an airbase... so we see military personnel everyday.
A really good friend taught me how to say thank-you in sign language as they are walking past me. You would be surprized how many stop to talk.

Considering how fast that jet was going..I'm impressed you got it in frame & focus! Nice Blue Monday! My husband is in the Air Force now, away for 2 1/2 years, but we both understand that what he is doing is bigger then us. The marriage will be fine, but he is needed right now just where he is. God has him where He needs him.
