Blue Monday - Pelican Lake

When we were camping in a State Park by Pelican Lake, we were amazed at the sight of the pelicans flying in for a landing. If you click on the picture, you can see them better.Later, they swam lazily around, looking for fish. It was interesting to watch them. What beautiful birds.

Hi Ruthie,

So pretty! When I looked at the pictures I was thinking how we often put blues and browns together in color schemes and decorations, they look so nice together in these pictures!

Blue is my favorite color. Visiting missionaries in Africa we were taken by a large lake and there were so many pelicans there that we couldn't count them.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I love getting comments from new people. In Australia there is one lake in the middle of Australia and it is the only place where pelicans breed. It is quite amazing how they make this inland trek.
