Found this little flower growing in all it's beauty between the cement and the blacktop up in the mountains - an impossible place - and yet it survives. Reminds me that God can make beauty out of our impossibilities, too.

Beautiful. :)
When you can travel the backroads of America, you discover God did an awesome job.
Hugs,
Chris
it is always so awesome to find a little bit of God's beauty in the midst of hardness and rocky places...
Beautiful flower...
What great observation, Ruthie. He is so mighty!
Simply beautiful Ruthie :)
Who would think to take pictures of such a little flower except those that loves God's beauty.
Kind of like searching for the first wild violet - knowing when I find it- that spring is on the way.
How special! Such a great application lesson of the little flower too.
Hi Ruthie,
What a beautiful little spot of bright color!
Thanks for your prayers for our daughter. She's well on her way to a full recovery.
hugs))
Ruthie, such a sweet little flower. It can bring beauty to the hard, cold cement around it. It reminded me so much of "Bloom where you are planted". Sweet post.
Hi Ruthie..
Yes!! a beautiful reminder indeed. And an important one as well, The Lord can make beautiful things happen in places we would least expect him to do it.
Hugz Lorie
How lovely! What a lovely thought too!
Ruthie, you are always so encouraging and uplifting. Thank you for that. What a great post.
Morning Ruthie! Oh, I just love that sweet little flower and your words about it. That's exactly right - makes me think of the Gaither song "Something Beautiful". Love it.
To answer your question, no my neighbors homes are okay, but about 3 blocks from us the houses were ruined. You talk about a miracle! Thanks for popping in to see me!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Beautiful!!!
How special--it also reminds me that with God all things are possible. I am 70 year old R.N. as well, but unfortunately I still have to work---but I am thankful that I can and that there is a need when so many people do not have jobs. Enjoy your blog.
Sometimes the smallest things are the most special.
Sweetie
