Show and Tell Friday - Bird Clock

While visiting my aunt out in CA, I kept hearing bird sounds. It turned out to be her clock. I loved hearing the birds. Later, she surprised us by sending us a bird clock like hers. I have it in my study and it makes me feel like I am outdoors as I hear the birds chirping every hour on the hour. Visitors sometimes think I have a bird in the house. LOL.
Do you have any fun clocks???

Hi Ruthie, Both my husband and son-in-law are avid bird watchers. Your clock would make each a wonderful Christmas present. Colorado is such a beautiful state. The bull elk has a great rack. We drive to Benezette in Elk Co. each year to see the elk. This year for the first time we didn't see any. We had three of our grandsons with us and they were really disappointed.

I love that clock, my MIL has one in the kitchen in their NC home.
Also, Monday we are going to see Elk at a national park near Waynesville,NC. Hope I get to see one. I have the worst luck getting to see wildlife.

Hugs,
Chris

That's a fun clock!

I haven't ever had a clock like that but when I saw your question of having "fun clocks" I remembered a watch I had in junior high. The second hand was parts of letters and each minute it would be lined up with the rest of the letter parts on the face to spell I love you.

I have one right above my computer - love it, but for some crazy reason when I put in new batteries ages ago (first time and I've done it several since) the birdies quit singing for me... boo hoo...

Any idea what I need to do to make them sing again?

hxI love birds and I love clocks. This clock sounds really special. A Coockoo clock is the most fun one we have. If I had my way we would have more fun clocks but every time I see one, my hubby reminds me we have enough clocks, which we do of course.

Don't know how the hx got in front of my last comment. I think I was doing the word verification and it jumped back up here.

that clock always surprises me. I should be used to it by now. :)

I have lots of fun clocks but none that make noise as I am sound sensitive. I don't care for chimes for the same reason.

We put up the play yard we got for Kamy and it makes all sorts of fun sounds. I hope she likes it. :) Took us 45 min to set it up too. Make me actually feel like a Gramma you know?

Evening, Ruthie!! My Mr. Precious has a clock like yours except it has trains around the face and they make all the different sounds. I still get a kick out of it every time it toots its horn!! I don't think that's how you say what trains do, but you know what I mean!! lol
Be a sweetie,
