The bolo is a rope with a colored golf ball on each end (different color for each team). If you click on the photo to enlarge it, you will see the bolo in mid-air. You toss the bolo towards the goal (the white contraption made with PVC plastic pipes) and it should twirl around the bar. Each person throws 3 bolos. The score is figured out as follows: a bolo around the top bar is 3 points, the second bar is 2 points, and the lower bar is 1 point. Winning score is: 21 points

Thanks Ruthie... I have seen this in several campgrounds but never knew how it was played or how the scoring went. It looks like it might be fun...
Hugs,
Donna
A guy in our camping group made this game out of PVC pipe, they enjoyed it a lot, I wasn't very good at it. Does your group play bean bag baseball? That's real popular at our campouts.
Dream Big,
Chris
Yes, beanbag baseball is fun and we've played it. These are good old "camping" games! :)
Smiles.
That is so interesting! I have seen versions of that but never knew the goal of it. It looks like fun!
This does look fun! Thanks for sharing.
That looks like a lot of fun.Do you have the game yourselves does it belong to someone else?
Oh...I've played that game before, I just didn't know that was the name. It IS really fun to play.
The games pictured belong to the State Good Sam Group and our local chapter.
I have seen this game at the store and was thinking of getting it for my family. You have convinced me!
