Prayer Request

Please pray for my right knee. When we were camping a few weeks ago, something happened to it, and I could hardly walk. After the steroid injection, it helped some - but still not right. Had an MRI that showed the meniscus (the cartilage) is torn in two places - the inner and outer side of the knee. Dr. said to wait 2 more weeks to see if improvement. Would rather not have to remove the cartilage, as that could cause more problems in the future. Please pray that my knee problem will be better without surgery. Thanks. I know many of you are real prayer warriers - and that's why I decided to put this on my blog. Appreciate your prayers.

Hi Ruthie, I'm sorry to hear about your knee, and I will be praying that it heals soon and without surgery. Try as best you can to say off of it, but ask your doctor if there is any lite exercise that would keep it from becoming stiff. Hoping for answered prayers and The Lord Is Good. Deb

I'm so sorry to hear about your knee. This is exactly what happened to mine. The meniscus was torn in my right knee. I hobbled around from July until November when I finally had the arthrescopic surgery. After that I had physical therapy and I really think that made it worse after the surgery. After a couple of months and the knee was still hurting really bad, he gave me a series of five shots in the knee that he thought would help, but it didn't help much if any. He finally gave me a cortizone shot. That was a couple of months ago. It has been a lot better but still hurts. I think the shot is wearing off because it seems like it is hurting a little more than it was.

I certainly hope and pray that you will have a better outcome than I did.

Hugs and blessings,
Charlotte

Hi again,
They locked up a new blog that I started for experimenting for possible spam. At first I just ignored it and the next day it was still locked. Then I followed the instructions they gave to owner. I clicked on review to unlock and then a few hours later it was unlocked. This is something new that Blogger has that automatically locks blogs if something there triggers it. I guess it's a good thing, but it's annoying if it happens to you.
About the knee surgery. Mine kept gettng so much worse that I had to do something. Maybe yours isn't torn as badly or in a different place so that won't happen. I hope so. Will continue praying for you.

Hi. I'm back again.
I was just reading an extensive article on knee stuff. Thought you might want to check it out.

Thanks for all your comments and prayers.

Charlotte, I'll check that knee website out. Thanks.
I was kept out of my blog yesterday, as well as Jan's and Megan DiMaria's. But today I can at least get into mine. One time they told me I was rated as R because I had used the word "kill" (talking about the robbers in China) and the word "missionary" (don't know why that was a flag???). And it could have just been a fluke with the website, too. Who knows.

Deb, I think you might be able to get into Jan's today. Since mine is unlocked, hers may be too. I haven't dared to go there in case mine gets locked up again. Read Charlotte's comment about her blog getting locked up. :)

Blessings to you all for praying for my knee. Hugs to you all.

Oh Ruthie, I am so sorry to hear that. I had a horrible injury to my left knee years and years ago, I have never had surgery. I pray for God's hands to be upon you!

Hugs,
Kathi :)

I was just reading your comment about your blog being locked up and I think I experienced that situation at your blog because it would let me in and then shut me out over and over again - so I gave up until today and was surprised to see a new post in addition to this one... I'm glad everything is up and running again.
