While camping up in the mountains, this dog came every day to watch my hubby play horseshoe. His owner said he just LOVES to watch someone playing horseshoe!

We went to a cookout this weekend and the hosts neighbor dog came over...a pug named Ugly Betty...she hopped in the car and would have gone home with us...LOL!

I read on another person's blog where a dog came over in the afternoon, just to take a nap... so after this happened for a few days, she decided to put a note under the dogs collar. The next day when the dog came back, he had another note attached to his collar. His owner said he belonged to a family with six children, the mother wanted to know if she could come over with him for naptime!!! Too Cute!!!
Why is it that some of the best tales are the ones like this ... short, sweet, related to nature (or the animal kingdom)?
I'm a Grandma too, though not yet retired. This is the very best of life, for sure; when folks like us take such great delight in these simple joys.
