Mountain Majesty

A beautiful Sunday today - and driving home from Church, we could see the Rocky Mountains in all their majesty.
It made me think of these verses in Psalm 121:

"I lift up my eyes to the hills -
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
The maker of heaven and earth." (v. 1 & 2)

"The Lord will keep you from all harm-
he will watch over your life;
The Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore."
(v. 7 & 8)

You might want to read the entire Psalm in whatever version you prefer.
It has only 8 verses.

I took this photo up in Rocky Mountain National Park last summer.

What a gorgeous photo. I have always wanted to visit Colorado.

I have so, so enjoyed your posts on China--what a precious story. I can just imagine what the Chinese people thought of you, as I always think. when I see little foreign babies!

And, I've just got to tell you, I love how you use the word "neat." My children think I'm "quaint" when I use that word (as I do, very often!)

Barbara,
I guess I use a lot of those "quaint" axpressions - what was common in my generation. LOL.
My kids enjoy hearing those quaint sayings from their childhood. :)

Awesome shot. I knew those mountains were a little to close for in town.

Ruthie, Absolutely beautiful. In Estes Park this past weekend, I got to see the mountains sort of up close and I couldn't help but think of God and His majesty!

The Rocky Mountains are so majestic. I certainly enjoyed living near them in 1954-55.
