Just to get away from scenes of Winter! I took this picture of this beautiful flower last summer. Now, I'm just trying to figure out how to get some pix of my China childhood on the blog so I can tell some stories about those special times.

nice picture. You might have to scan the pics into your computer, or have the pics made into a cd/dvd?, and than put into your computer. It would be nice to have those pictures copied just in case something happened. Photo albums are bulky and discs are much easier to grab in an emergency. I should do this also, but it is a little $$ I think. Unless you know someone who has the ability to do this for you because they are nice...:) who knows... have a great weekend! J
Thanks. Good idea. :)
How beautiful! I'm so looking forward to your China pictures and stories!
That is a lovely flower!
Hi Mom,
I have an award for you on my blog. :)Have a great weekend. Love you!
Good morning,...I just found your blog and am so glad I did!
I, too, am 70, retired and we are enjoying every minute of retirement.
I hope you enjoy blogging as much as I do...I've had such a great time at it.
Come by to see me anytime.....I am almost always around!
hugs, bj
Beautiful!!
Ruthie, You lived in China? I can't wait to hear your stories and see the pics. How interesting that must have been. How did that affect your attitude toward American culture? Thanks for visiting Joy Dance - I feel like I have a new blog friend and I am going to link you! :0) Oh, and thanks for reading my story in Chicken Soup for the Tea Lovers soul. :0)
Thanks for the reminder that spring is "just around the corner". I, too, am anxious for hearing about your stories of living in China. Have a great day!
Love, Shari
